Discover the feedback of N, Product Owner in an international company

For several months, N. has been leading the development and adoption of an innovative tool, intended for thousands of employees, combining artificial intelligence and the optimization of internal processes.

As soon as the project was launched, she chose to integrate Weloop to meet a major challenge: to ensure fluid and interactive communication with an audience of more than 43,000 users with varied profiles.

Today, she tells us how Weloop supports her in this challenge, the benefits she gets from it and her expectations for the future. 🚀

First part: Personality interview

‍

What is your first thing to do when you arrive at the office in the morning?

N's response : I wash my hands

What do you find the most enjoyable part of your work day?

N's response : I really like talking to my users, being able to get their feedback and discuss with them. Exchanging is why I like this job.

And on the contrary, the least pleasant?

N's response : Paradoxically, it's the run. When someone reports problems to you, it's not necessarily the easiest thing to deal with.

What quality do you look for in others first?

N's response : Listening to the point of view of others. When you are able to express your point of view and you feel that the person is receptive and that there can be an exchange.

What is your worst professional anxiety?

N's response : Working on a boring subject

And your best professional memory?

N's response : I believe it’s coming soon - at least, I hope so. We’ve been working for months on a new version of Secure GPT, designed for all employees of our company. It’s a major challenge to reach the hundreds of thousands of employees we are targeting. We took the gamble of creating a fully customized interface instead of using an off-the-shelf solution. So, I hope that during the presentation in front of everyone, there will be positive reactions and that it will help drive adoption of Generative AI.

What did you do with your very first salary?

N's response : At the time, I was a school support teacher, and with my very first salary, I bought myself a nice bag that I had wanted for a very long time!

What is your favorite hobby or hobby in your free time?

N's response : Make cultural visits with my children, dedicate my free time to my family

What is your main character trait?

N's response : People often say that I am very spontaneous, which is unusual in the world of big companies like that, so it can come as a surprise sometimes!

What country would you have liked to live in, if you did not live in France?

N's response : An Anglo-Saxon country, the United States or Great Britain 

What other job would you have liked to do if you weren't a Product Owner?

N's response : I think I would have gone into politics

What inventor, scientist, or famous person would you see to illustrate a new bank note?

N's response : Marie Curie or Simone Veil

N's response : Generative AI. I am in the middle of it right now!

‍Second part: Interview on the use of Weloop ‍

‍

The objective is to know more about your activity and your collaboration with Weloop, and to know your level of satisfaction both in the use of the tool and in the support we provide you. You can tell us anything, this time with no word limit 🙂

Can you describe the main lines of your business activity?

N's response : Our company operates in the environmental sector with three main areas: the management of water resources, the energy optimization of buildings, and everything related to cleanliness, in particular the recycling and incineration of waste.

What is the application you are working on for?

N's response : It is an internal tool based on generative AI, similar to ChatGPT, with advanced features like internal knowledge base search (RAG) and document translation capabilities. We also develop dedicated assistants for specific applications.

What technology is used for this application?

N's response : This application is based on generative AI technologies, integrated into a web application with an intuitive user interface. It is designed to provide a smooth and industrialized experience for employees, thus meeting a variety of operational needs.

What led you to use Weloop? What were your problems?

N's response : The application is open to all employees, including a large number of field operators and office staff, representing around 43,000 users. From the start of the project, it seemed essential to me to integrate Weloop in order to facilitate exchanges with this varied audience and to be able to communicate developments effectively. Since integrating Weloop, we have grown from 3,000 users in January 2024 to over 37,000 currently.

What were your goals and expectations with Weloop?

N's response : Our main objective was to ensure top-down communication on new features and bottom-up communication allowing users, who work in a variety of contexts and schedules, to transmit their feedback easily and centrally in one place.

What notable results have you seen since using Weloop?

N's response : Thanks to Weloop, we were able to improve communication and receive a constant flow of user feedback. Users feel more involved and listened to, and this has improved their overall satisfaction. It is a very popular and useful tool in our daily management.

Did you encounter any constraints or challenges in implementing Weloop?

N's response : The only difficulty was to carry out the project in parallel with the transition to Weloop V2, which required additional organization. Otherwise, the implementation took place without major constraints.

What do you like the most about Weloop?

N's response : The back office interface is very fluid and easy to use. The machine translation feature is also valuable, as it allows users to be responded to quickly without wasting time.

Are there improvements you would like to see?

N's response : I would like to find the modal pop-up functionality of V1, which allowed messages and videos to be broadcast in a more powerful way. [Editor's note: the popup has been (re) put into production since the interview]

What would happen if you no longer had this solution?

N's response : The project would be more difficult to manage, communication with users would be limited, and I would probably be overwhelmed with emails. This would have a negative impact on project management.

How would you describe your collaboration with Weloop?

N's response : The Weloop team is very responsive to our requests, and there is a solid relationship of trust between our teams, which makes collaboration enjoyable and productive.
